It doesn't matter if you knew they were dropping. Unless you had a bot, you had 0 chance. Both stores should just do online raffles that require some form of entering your ID online to prevent instagram bots or auto-generated entries with fake emails.
On a side note, for consortium drops, you need to follow the instagram and twitter pages of the consortiums releasing the shoe. They will provide the release info.
