Got my 2nd pair of Chalks in from ADC. I think I might be converting from .5 up to a TTS advocate. For some reason my toes don't brush up against the inner plastic cap in the toebox on these 9.5s the way they do on my other 9.5 UBs. The rest of the shoe fits the same as my others, heel, ankle, etc. but there's something about the toebox. Maybe it's because they're wool (all my other wool pairs are 10, never tried on a wool 9.5 before), I dunno! Either way I'm glad I have both 9.5 & 10. Can rock the 10s on colder days with thicker socks and keep the 9.5s for the summer only.
On a slightly less positive note, these 9.5s that just came in are a little bit dirty. Doesn't seem like anything that won't come out with the standard cleaning, but still kind of annoying considering they're straight from the source. Here's a pic, you can see what almost looks like a denim stain at the top of the tongue and then two spots of dirt on the laces (they look like you could just wipe them off but they're embedded in there) and then at the bottom of the pic you can see a scratch on the eyelet. It all kind of follows a line so they likely brushed up against something dirty in the factory, who knows. Regardless, it's certainly not bad enough to warrant a return.
Gonna bug adidas customer relations when they reopen on Monday and see if I can get some sort of coupon/discount. It's worked for me in the past but that was with smaller boutiques that sent pairs with dirty soles. I don't mind some dirt on my shoes, but I'd like to be the one that puts it there.
