Adidas x Fear Of God Athletics

My pair came in. I'm a size 13 and purchased both a 13 and 14 to try on. The 13s fit fine. The 14s were a little longer with a relaxed toe box and space in front of my toes. I'd say go TTS if you're a whole size. If you're a half size, go up to the closest whole size; they probably won't feel that big (ex. 11.5-> 12)..

For the wide footers. I have one foot thats slightly wider than the other but I wasn't killed wearing them around. If you have noticeably wide feet, the toe shape may annoy you. I'd go up to the next full size (ex. 11 wide or 11.5 wide -> 12).

For reference, I needed the BB1 in a 14 and the BB2 in a 13.5 to fit well.

The shoes are less stiff compared to the previous BBs knitted textile with a thin internal cage. It also has an actual tongue with a little gusset, versus the sock liner/sleeves of the BB1 and BB2. Much easier to put your foot into.

The cut is a little lower than the BB2 and slightly wider in the ankle. They probably could've added another lace hole for people who want a tighter feel, but no issues with heel slip.

They also come with 3 additional sets of laces (one set with lace locks).

Adding these to my list.👍

I don't know much about FOG and the whole situation that happened. All I know is that as someone who just likes shoes, it looks sleek, comfortable, breathable, and great in beige.

Good looking Hank! I’m a wide foot 13 and usually get the unicorn size 13.5 since adidas always has it. All my other bballs are a 13.5 but I ordered a 13&14 as well, so I’m happy to hear this

The 14 will fit better even if a little long in the box

I’m a wide 8 and I own the most of the collection in 8.5 except these and the 1s in a 9 and they’re a little long but not long enough for my feet to slide since they’re so plush. Because there’s more give than the 1s they feel bigger even though they’re about the same length. I think if I got to choose again I’d rough it with an 8 but I still like them.

I think, it being wider in the ankle with less padding as well in that area are my only complaints. But as someone with skinny ankles I may be in the minority as I have just a hint of heel slip, but there’s also no way i could fit a full size down…..
and

They definitely run long and TTS 12.5 and 12 fits fine. Don’t know why he put that big *** padding in the toe box smh

Seems really pissed at Adidas

Also I feel Jerry but imagine if it were up to him and this is the first shoe we get since 2020

That would be crazy

I see where you’re coming from, but I also see where Jerry was trying to meet this generation’s “lowtop love”/Kobe obsession.
Reading my post and it sounds like I was saying hi/mid in lieu of the low. I meant alongside like the 2

Got my basket ball iii pair in and I feel like this is the most “adidas” shoe that has come out of this main line. They’re basic, super light, and feel like the probably should have been the actual bball I.

It’s funny because they’re the exact opposite of everything people complained about with the 1s but have none of the FOG pizzaz that I’ve come to appreciate. While they’re probably going to be the best on foot experience I think aesthetically they’re my least favorite of the new designs. Still a solid shoe. The trainer still gets the top spot for me.

forgot, are the ones with the strap, trainers or bball shoes?

one thing about this collab that i find weird/interesting is the distribution...like 2s were at big box retailers (in some cases), 3s are currently limited to FOG and adidas, some of the initial stuff was in boutiques but not that many...

After the 1s and 2s being flops and going on a 70% off discount and carried no real hype or demand, I'm sure they purposely made less of the 3s. Probably for two obvious reasons, to maybe build some limited hype back and to not waste anymore money on the brand if it's not succeeding. It's probably why this time around theres no half sizes, to make less of the shoe. It's interesting to see where Jerry and Adidas goes from here on out after the 3s....

He seems committed to performance and he clearly learned a lot along the way considering how much better his basketball stuff got. With his whole shtick being Americana and New Balance finally taking ball shoes seriously I could see him fishing for a deal there. Can probably turn his 3 stripes tat into an N.

i feel like adidas was the one pushing performance over luxury aesthetic and he didn't want to compromise either of them
