This same confirmation error happened to me during the black friday release for the green stripes. It also happened to a bunch of other people. It eventually comes back. Everybody just needs to chill out for now.

Got through on my wife's android with multiple apps still running in the background. Reset my iPhone, put it on airplane mode with wifi, closed all my opened apps and still strucked out.
