I get the limited factor. But at this time of year, everything is magnified. You really shouldn't release a shoe globally, with such a microscopic amount available on Dec 19th. People are out of school, off of work, and all dreaming of grabbing a pair. Let's hope the online releases are more plentiful or I think it's a poorly executed release.
