Material cutting, sourcing and construction.

350s are a simple prime knit with a sole and boost.

500s are a little more complicated but no boost.

700s take multiple materials, putting them all together, including boost.

Thats how adidas would justify the pricing.

I have to be honest and say those are trash imo. Im good with Waves and Mauves, their special to me, this colorway is ehhh. I hope Adidas don't turn up the thirst level and start dropping mad colors of the 700's like they did with the 350's. The design and color blockings on 700's makes it my favorite Yeezy but I don't want to see a bunch of colorways floating around, takes away the from the specialness of that shoe.....

Might be a smart move if resell prices stay where they are now or close to it. You'd be actually securing them for cheaper than resell prices.
