Advertising On Facebook??

Yo Im about to start selling clothes and I want to get my product out..not nationally butjust around my city. I think facebook would be a good start. Is therea way I can create some sort of page and add random ppl without adding them as my friend so i wont look mad suspect adding random dudes?
