AFROTC Scholarship

I was wondering if anyone on here had an In College scholarship for Air Force ROTC. They list all the qualifications on the website and on this pamphlet they gave me, but I wanted to know if there's some kind of commitment to it or strings attached ( like if you take the scholarship - you have to take certain classes like Calculus or Physics, etc). Can anyone help me out?

You can major in anything. I'm going for the dedng which is similar but it involves the national guard. I wish I would have done it for under grad....but its cool. My service commitment is 8 years after I graduate school and I can't be deployed until after I finish grad school. Can't beat that because I sure don't have no 20 gs for school. I will be doing pt 3 times a week and military science courses once a week. But no other requirements.

as far as I know all you have to take is the required classes that deal with the military such as a few credits of military history, and a class specifically for ROTC that takes some credits.
I think in one of your summers you take a 3 week camp or something like that also for military training

Oh yeah I know that, Im taking the Aerospace Studies courses that are required, and the basic training in the summer after your sophomore year is typical for all ROTC cadets. I was just wondering about anything concerned with the scholarship itself.

^ to answer that question...no. you can pick your major. so therefore its not like the scholarship is only applicable to certain majors. but if i were you id research some possible mos that youd like to be an officer in. because unless you become a warrant officer you really arent going to be a specialist in your field anyways. your leadership qualities will be more of the forefront....i think thats how that works...military heads chime in. also in the AF i dont think you get to chose your mos either.
