Why can't people accept a bad color way for what it is rather than blame it on a "lack of creativity" or "running out of ideas". People do this every time there's an unpopular color way, but then a hot retro+ color way hits the internet and people are tripping over themselves again.

Nike got to where they are today because they tried things that might have sounded or even looked funny at first. You truly never know what will be the next hit/classic.
