Along with the end of those stupid COVID stimulus packages fueling sneaker purchases, I think people also realized that the VAST majority of releases are trash and not worth anywhere near those resell prices.
At one point, AJ 1 OG High Bloodlines were going for $300+ resale
Funny thing about these AJKOs is that when I got them I regretted paying retail. However they have gotten wear on every warm weather vacation since. Because of that they are one of my favorite pairs of shoes and have become priceless to me due to the memories created while wearing them.

The chi Dow slander is coming mainly from resellers. If you see them on foot, they’re so nice. Easiest must cop if you somehow didn’t get them for retail and you’re a fan of the 1s

Chi-dows were/are nice in hand and on foot. Storm blue pair remains #1, but I like the chi-dow mashup more than the other pair that was originally released.

Honestly hype/prices didn’t hit bottom until a while after drop. I paid like $375 for a pair couple months after realize…. Then like a week later they restocked, and they’ve been right around retail since.
I’m gonna assume it’s gonna be similar with these eventually, with or without a restock.
