I honestly don’t get the appeal of the white ankle area on the royal bottom, but if other people like it then happy hunting.

I’m from LA and loved the concept of the Union 1s from the very beginning (most NTers disliked them at first), so I went hard for them. Got two black toes for retail and bought a pair of storm blues for about $650.
But I don’t like these new ones much. The Royal pair is fine but underwhelming. The black/white pair is boring. The blue/red pair is good but seems a bit redundant since I have Storm Blues. I’ll go for them but probably will stick to retail or bust.
Took a Union group pic a while back. Missing a couple pairs I forgot to include like the baseball weave one (which I really like, but just forgot about for the pic).

why do people keep saying the collar of the pair red and blue pair is a bred? its obviously the chicago colorway based off the tounge??

If the original Unions hadn’t come out, folks would be losing their s*** over these.
They look just as good as the black toes or the storm blues.
