Went ahead, bit the bullet, and paid resell. Size 12 came out to $379. Used ZIP though and split the payments up to 8 to make myself feel better

Making payments on sneakers is crazy. Priorities messed up. I have a nice collection myself but Nike and Michael Jordan don’t care about us. Just look at the undefeated 4s. I enter online, Chicago raffle and tried online and still took Ls. I made up my mind I was going to pay resale next month if I don’t hit on SNKRS but seeing the quality on those got me reconsidering if it’s worth paying resale. I paid $600 for brick 4s and $800 for union 1s but my pairs came with amazing quality control. No glue marks or flaws. If I gotta pay resale then I feel a type of way when shoes come with bad flaws. I think I’m just done almost done with the sneaker game. Men out here making payments on shoes. Paying resale is not a flex by the way. Some people look at me as dumb for spending that type of money

For ya'll winning on END, I'm sure a tariff is coming. I got one from an EU retailer through FedEx for $60 when I grabbed the Shattered Backboards.

I've learned in life, that people need to be more concerned about themselves and their own actions instead of deflecting onto others. I'm sure you have many flaws of your own you need to correct. Priorities messed up.

I use affirm pretty frequently and I’m making over 6 figures living pretty decently all things considered.
One of the things I do as a side hustle usually pays out via virtual Visa cards so I just use those to pay everything off to where I’m not touching my debit or credit cards to buy a lot of my frivolous purchases and if they’re going to offer no interest on top of that, it makes sense.
Anyhow I ended up biting on a pair. A little more than what I would’ve hoped to pay, but also nothing too crazy either. Just need this seller to confirm and start processing this order though.

Tools that provide no interest payment options are used by wealthy people just like poor people. You may have a budget of $8,000/mo but still toss a couple hundred on to meet your financial goal rather than have $8300 in outflows.
Some people have great credit but no desire to be locked into a credit card at all, and zero interest payment options are an easy way to budget.
Anyone who doesn’t have $50 for the first payment isn’t getting approved for pay later options, so it’s antithetical to suggest this is the primary user group. Even when we’re talking about a consumer market full of bums and hustlers.

Yea kinda weird people worry about how someone spends their money, like is it any difference purchasing shoes with a credit card and only paying the minimum balance?I could pay for those sneakers out right 30 times. I literally said "to make myself feel better" cause I hate not paying retail

I woke up overnight and saw an alert about Size? having them up. I checked out, mostly because they use Apple Pay. They came out to $260 with the conversion, and then I thought about the tariffs. Then earlier today I remembered Size doesn't even ship here, so I should be getting a cancellation e-mail

Also, if you didn’t get these then you didn’t work or grind hard enough, if you don’t pay resale then you don’t want them bad enough, if you pay resale via payments then you’re wasting money, if you’re worried about what someone else paid then you’re pocket watching, there is no win no how no way, if you got them through the means that you wanted good on ya, if you didn’t they’ll eventually come back around, but this whole debacle is worse than factory talk.

If you're using that pay in 4 crap w/ 0% interest, it's actually smart.
If you're financing a $200 pair of sneakers over the course of 18 months? You're a financially illiterate degenerate for sure,
