I will say this release may have the most I have ever seen. (midsole bumps) To me its easy to look past them though.

Yeah makes me think of what they did to 8,9 and 10 too to reinforce them from what those 7s did lol

The 8, not much. But obviously worked. The 9, toe cap/rand went around the shoe. The 10 was not designed with MJ in mind at all.
To look at the 8 though, the extra layer coming off the straps going to the forefoot would give more support that the 7s did not.

8 were prob the most extra with the full on double strap though. 9s has the midsole fingers. 10s had the stacked layers with the leather and midsole (shadows)
10s disnt nevesarily have tobe an MJ thing, just an improvement on the ones before in some way regarding this. It was prob an ongoing effort for tinker id imagine.
Thinking of the 8s though in particular, its just funny to me to think of a scenario where MJ was going in on Tinker because the 7s were unstable like
and Tinker was like ‘lolz i got you my dude, wait til you see whats next’ and he goes ultra overkill with it

The side painted panels are slightly cut lower than they should be along with the purple inside not matching the purple on the midsole. I know the purple on the 93s were not spot on perfect but they were closer in shade. The 2015 has a noticeable difference between the two colors.

I copped these 2019 Playoff 11’s through Finishline from a raffle win and this is what I saw when I got home and opened the box. I’ve never seen this before and have never seen another issue like it. There was a white haze of some kind all over the patent leather. Every other area of the shoe(s) we’re perfect except the PL. I have no idea what could have caused this. You can see a couple small spots where I was able to rub some of it off with my finger. Anyone ever seen this before ?

Damn...I guess it comes in handy to really check your pair before leaving the store....however I will say I seen something similar like that but just not all over the entire PL like yours. I seen pairs with maybe a very few small spots of that white haze. Hopefully you can try to rub most of it off....

I got a white haze on my SP pair but it wasn’t that bad and it was only on the left shoe
I wiped off a little bit with my fingers and it came off pretty easy but the PL still looked dull and hazy
I bought multiples so I just put it back and said I’ll deal with it later
I recently bought leather wipes for my 1’s so I’ll try the wipes and see how it goes
