Playoffs sold out though.
I'm not saying these won't sell out because every Jordan retro and hybrids have been selling out this year.
You really won't be able to determine if the obsidians sold better than playoffs unless you had the #'s sold for every store in the US.

They are so fresh but the hype is gonna be big, my local mom and pop store reserves at the 1st month which is today and completely sold out every size so now the waiting game begins hopefully I get mines

Can't speak for other parts of the country but here in Nova Scotia there's a boutique that gets a limited run of each new release and sells out quickly. They usually sell out fairly quickly as well at Footlocker too. At a sporting goods store called Cleve's ##%@ sits for months on end though. I remember they marked the 09 TB III's down to 120 after they sat for a year..
