Same hereJD let me choose from 3 pairs. Couldn’t take too long with 3 employees looking me down like I’m crazy (I am lol) but ultimately came home with these. Didn’t even need to mix match as these were overall the best pair right out of the box. I prioritized low EP height over thick/thin black line inconsistencies and this pair had the lowest EP. Satisfied with these. I think once peeps get pairs in hand you’ll appreciate. JB did a pretty good job with these and leather is good and soft. Unless you get an obvious bunk pair can’t really front on these. They’re miles and miles better than the ‘16 pair and make that pair look like a joke. I think folks should realize that all Vietnam factories are not created equal. Meaning the VO3 factory actually did these justice for the most part. I’d say these are a mix between RI WC3, ‘24 BC3 and Wizard 3s shape and craftsmanship wise. Tongue height is on par with all recent 3s not including BC3 VW1 (Vietnam) pairs.

Shots out to the manager @ JD Sports in Mall of Florida in Orlando. He tried to match me up with a perfect pair... That left foot was perfect to me. Out of the pairs they have, I couldnt match the right the left foot... The staff was friendly...

Happened to be in the area after lunch so stopped by CityCentre in Houston and picked up a 14 from Nike and from Social Status.
So three pairs secured but only keeping one.

yeah wc3 RI came out of retirement specifically for today, went side by side on feet & yeah recommend half sz down

Good thing about ordering directly from Nike is you know the warehouse guys aren't rooting through every pair to check for perfect EP height from a Vietnamese factory 
Looked at 5 examples
1 was V03M which had crazy thick EP
4 were V03, including the one I settled on, which was my last.
This pair seemed like a lucky pick. The rest had more noticeable consistency and shape issues. I was already figuring which battles to pick and settle on.
Base leather consistency is still off, but not the absolute worst thing by Jordan standards (or those other examples I saw). All left shoes looked better than right shoes. overall. The V03 lefts were observed to have thinner EP.
Half-size down was the move for me. Actually this might be the perfect between-sizing I've experienced. I find most regular size 3s feel too spacious in in the midfoot and collar, in respect to my own foot shape. I used to have the Tinker half-size down, but they didn't have the length that these too.
