SS pair had the thinnest EP but the left toe is straight up B grade.
Redeemed cash back from my CC so don’t feel bad about what’s kind of a meh release of a storied OG. But I remember being broke as a joke in 10th grade and the sting of missing out on the ‘01 drop so they were getting got either way.

Best out of 3 ended up with good shape and tongue .. overall a keeper except the darker EP on the lace area. Getting a good one is a pain w these Vietnams smh

3rd pair came, not bad but might not make the cut. I ended up with 4 pairs on accident from seeing I hit ship to home raffles after I already picked up 2 in store.
Gonna narrow it down to 2 pairs. Maybe 3

You can say it’s a meh release and I get it but the fact is it’s miles better than even the ‘01 release. The ‘26 is by far the best TB retro that’s released to the public. I can post pictures of OG pairs with undesirable shapes and inconsistent EP if you like.

I feel you and I wasn’t necessarily complaining about the ‘26 release.
I’m 41 & for me, all my retro purchases tie to my past memories about the Brand and/or where I was in life. Some people might think it’s doing too much, just buy the shoes or don’t but that’s how I connect with retro product.
I didn’t want the ‘01 because of the specific shoe but because of how I felt missing out at the time, which is also the only reason I’m looking forward to Laser IVs - finally got cash in college but the LS release made it impossible for me to cop.
I see I went on a tangent so to bring it back, I’m actually a 14.5 and 3s usually are roomy so they work better for me. Might just be this size but they def didn’t run big for me

These are up there with my 22 fire reds! I got really lucky with all four of the re retros of the ogs,all of them had little to no issuesThey’re all Vietnam factory. Not a damn thing wrong with this pair

Yeah.... Some of yall pairs are janky and wayyyyy off.... EP is like .0000000000000004mm off. These measurements of the slope and toe box are just nasty work... Yall paid retail for these???? Should of waited for the disco...
