While the 1994 and 2001 retro weren’t specifically accurate to the 1988 release, they were still the only acceptable pairs we’ve received. Everything after that has been terrible. After enduring 15 years of a Jumpman on the heal and a whole new generation of consumers, it’s understandable why the 18 release is polarizing. All we can hope for is that Jordan Brand can finally give us an accurate retro that comes close to the original pair as possible.

As far as the look of the shoe is concerned, if the reimagined White Cements and 2022 Fire Reds are anything to go by, these will be fine.

If you look at the MJ pic from the all star game in that link, the midsole looks sail, but it could just be the way the photo was taken….that said, I’ve always thought the OG was white

The thing with the ogs was the white portions on the midsole weren’t painted. They were dyed but basically exposed foam. So they quickly became more of a sail/yellow.

Agreed. MB4s sold well with a large amount of stock. If Jordan Brand is trying to build their hype train again, then limit stock on those boring Columbia 11s

Amen! Yeah, this is going to be the first year since like 2018 I'm passing on the holiday 11. I just can't do an all white 11 and the whole white patent leather discoloring over time is a deal breaker for me.
