III's have always been considered a "midtop" shoe. Honestly, they're probably the one shoe that started the class.

i actually passed on a non yellowed og pair WITH NIKE AIR in my size too damn i should of scooped i think they ended at like 375 i know i wont find those again nike air on white cements damn im kicking myself right now

That pic just made them look slightly higher
because of the angle and the collar has been tighten
much together to make them appear higher than usual.
The AJ III and IV were never considered as high tops
but definetly mid cut basketball shoes.
