Only good changes are either painting the back from red to black and/or swapping heel tabs...... imo

Try using a hair dryer and some tweasers. Set the heat on low. I’ve heard people say this works

Seems like that may work. Just don't heat up too much.

Nothing wrong in being picky about something you are passionate about.

Jordan 4 is my favorite of all time. But after the Jordan 3 heat that dropped this year not sure now. Nothing better then a clean new right out of the box white jordan 3 with some color on it.

I agree, when I get home I’m painting the lace loops royal and putting the white laces back in.

It's funny to me that some have such a strong reaction about lace swaps (which again, I don't do, but I don't feel super strongly about it otherwise) but will paint/tab swap. I know it's to make it look like another version that you have a stronger preference for, but to me there's just something about putting all that effort into changing the whole shoe itself that just feels odd. Like putting a racing stripe vs. a whole Ferrari kit on a Honda Accord.

Do whatever makes you happy. I personally wouldn't bother with painting for fear of cracking, but if you're skilled, why not. I have never felt the need to do a lace swap except for the Infrared 23s swapped to black laces; I think that was a success.

Lace swaps are usually ugly to me unless the toungue matches the laces.

That’s the reason it works so well on the Infrared 3 they should’ve been black out the box.

I like the concept. Huge Pistons fan and the blue/red looks like the side of our home jerseys. These are a better-looking version of the white/red/blue pair dropping in a few months.

Check your local stores, several in my area had a display of these up as of today.
I didn't ask which sizes, but they definitely had displays up. I would just call some places.

for the most part i would keep whatever laces came with the sneaker as it is

but if i wanted to temporarily match a sneaker for an occasion, like celebrating a holiday or independence day i might do it

then switch back
