Something similar when they updated the outsole compound on the Jordan 31, because there were so many complaints about the traction. The new outsole compound didn't really make a difference IMO. These 38's will probably be more along the line of the Bron 15 when his personal pair received an outrigger and there was talk of the models available for purchasing getting an outrigger. But that was shutdown real quick. So, on the 38's you're just taking a chance hoping the outsole lasts for more than a few hours since it looks like nothing is going to be addressed.

Those are actually kinda nice. I didn't like them upon first appearance, but the gold flecks on the midsole are kind of nice. Still holding out for the Aquas, OG Guos (all jade), or the lows.
