How did the CDP III's midsole hold up as far as cracking goes? As compared to the 06 Fire reds?

Had two pairs of fire reds. First pair chipped alot, but the rest of the shoe was in excellent condition. Sold those....Bought another VVVVVNDS pair and wore them once to disneyland and the shoe had hairline cracks after only a few hours, and I am not a heavy dude.
