I'm starting the Anti-Raptors movement...

Not the actual colorway....Just the name. UGH.

I get it. I do. Y'all call it that because the colors resemble the OLD Toronto Raptor's colors (I say old because they don't use Purple anymore),You don't like typing out "black/red VII's" or worse yet, "BREDS"....Or you just like silly nicknames for shoes. Either way,I've never been a fan of the name because the Raptors didn't exist back then and I associate the usage with younger collectors who don't orcan't appreciate the shoe for what MJ did in it back in the day.
