Arguably the greatest shoe of all time. Simple, yet elegant. The patent leather, the mesh, clear rubber outsole, extra thick laces....perfection at it's finest. The crazy thing about this shoe was in 1995 when it was first released, it took awhile for it to move. The OG concords sat on store shelves for a good couple months before they began flying out the door. They released in October of 1995 and I was still able to get them around Christmas! People just werent used to the idea of wearing shiny sneakers, I guess. Once the Bulls looked as if they were gonna run away with the best record and title, it's popularity grew. Dudes in my high school were wearing these to school dances! By the time the black/red XI's released in the Summer of 1996, the Jordan craze had hit full steam. It was one of the more memorable releases I have ever been apart of. And 4 years later when they were retroed, they showed no signs of slowing down.

The Blk/Red Jordan XI Mid is my favorite shoe and colorway of all time. Always has been since they originally dropped. It's just pure perfection.Fortunately for me I was able to get my grails about 3 years ago.




Also took a pair of the Blk/Zest and customized them for a blackout effect. Couldn't stand that ugly contrast stitching.




Def more pairs in the future for me.
