My sz 13 is basically retail before tax/shipping on apps, 12.5 which is a more rare size is slightly above…. Once they drop, both sizes should be under retail.

Need to see em in person first but flints always been one of the most underrated jays imo.

Was gonna hold out for a discount, but managed to snag a pair off an eBay live auction for $134 USD shipped. Not bad.

Pair came in, and I’m very happy with them at this price point.

Can you comment on how the white leather on the toe and tongue is? Is it like the recent white reds, or stiff and cheap like the 2020 flints? I sold my 2020 flints because the materials were so poor and the squeak was wild. Wondering if these are improved?

I wish I could answer your question, but I don’t have either of those pairs to compare these to. My last pair of 13s I bought were the original Altitudes but I sold those years ago. The only pair of 13s I have left are the Black Reds from 2004.

I have held the white/red 13s in store though, and I’d say the materials are the same.

Nice. Thank you. If the material is bad, it would be obvious. Last retro it was super stiff and just overall felt like plastic.

I haven’t even tried my pair on yet but while I was loosening the laces, the squeaking caused by the tongue rubbing against the laces was kind of loud. Lol

The squeak literally turned me off from 11s and 13s. I hate squeaks and pops.
