It looks like the zip code patch on the midfoot strap is detachable; and maybe the ankle strap is completely removable?

How I feel off a first impression as well. I lean slightly towards letting these pass me by just because I doubt I'd pull them out of the closet much, but I like the way they look.

It's a Velcro patch so I'm guessing they'll at least toss in a plain black patch to replace it with.

That’s the problem with most brands, still trying to force unwarranted product on the consumer. I get that the “sneakerhead” crowd is a tiny portion of the overall market but seriously this model never sold well and would have to be made in small quantities to be even remotely taken seriously by the few who go for that stuff. Waste of time.

I’d rather they rerelease the OG white amd OG stealth colorways but without the stupid ankle strap. I dont wear my stealths basically because of that thing. The white pair especially would be dope if it was just a true lowtop sans the strap.
