Hello

I am just getting into Air Jordan’s and I really like them. I have no. 1 and no. 4s now.

Can an expert out there please tell me:

Are the Jordan’s we have today the same ones that MJ actually wore in his games? Ok, I understand that they look the same but are the sole shape and size, the materials used, the cut and sizing dimensions etc etc the same? I am really interested to know this. Today I think most high level athletes have everything custom made for them.
In addition to this, can someone please tell me if each shoe today has a different feel and fit to it? I have only tried 2 of them and they are quite different. No. 1’s are flatter and No. 2’s have a lot more padding. Regarding all the other numbers, are they all different or much the same? For example, a wider toe, or heal, or perhaps some have higher arches than others or more or less padding?

Buddy i’d love to answer but there’s just too much info to post to answer your questions. Glad you’re getting into Jordans, my main advice is do you. Buy what you like and don’t follow the herd. Start here and enjoy the journey.

Thanks! Awesome link. Ok I get it is probably hard to answer my questions like that. To make a simple questions. Do you know, were the Jordans ML wore custom made specifically for him or are they the exact same shape and size that we wear today?

Pleeeeeeeese say they are the same that would be so cool!
