Air Max 97 Metallic

Just as usual, Nike is bringingback hits from the past. This time around, the Nike Air Max 97 has been retro'ed in the metallic silver/varsity red/neutral grey colorway. Although 1997 was only twelveyears ago, it doesn't hurt to have a fresh pair to rock. The shoe uses metallic silver leather and mesh, and most of all, the reflective lining throughoutthe shoe. To finish things off right, the shoe has a white midsole with Air Max unit and a clean black outsole. These are going for $250 overseas right now.

They retro the hell out of this shoe.
And $250 is steep, past retro's can be had for less than retail if you look hard enough.

That's due to a combination of the exchange rate and the fact that the European retail price on 97s has been 'padded' a little in the last fewyears.

Without the paint on the outsold these are redundant.

I think it's been retro'ed at least 3 times in the USA. They came out in 2000 or 2001, with the HOA shoes, and one time I think since then.
This shoe in this cw is still my favorite shoe of all time.
