Recently there are some retros out for the Nike Air Pippen 1 that pays homage to one of the true Hall-of-Famers, 'Pip' himself.

Pippen 2's in white/red were my first proper basketball shoes, back in the days when I thought I could make it into the NBA lol

My parents got them for me when I was 12/13, they were rather expensive, especially for Polish standards back then (250PLN ~ $65 for junior size), had to promise my parents I won't ask for new shoes for 18 months (which was simply not an option since I was 12 years old and my feet just kept growing), I had them for about 12 months before I simply couldn't squeeze them on anymore, gave them to my couple years younger cousin, he destroyed them within 3-4 months cause he balled in them outdoors while I only used them indoors. They were in 9.5/10 condition when I passed them onto him.

good times, happy memories, got the Payton's (Zoom GP II) after Pippen's.
