you thought wrong. Second lace hole is too far away from the strap. Box tag obviously misaligned. Shape not correct. Toebox suede does not raise over highest point on outsole.

These fetched $2500 on an eBay auction, some poor guy was hustled... The toe box suede is what gave it away for me as well, after I looked carefully at that, I had the feeling that these were fake, thank you for the replies guys, just one more question...

Would the safest bet be to purchase the Yeezy shoes from Flight Club or do they sell fakes also?

Triangles on inside are cut way too sharply, legit has a softer cut to them

Pay close attention to the tongue details as well as how faint the roman numerals are on the lacelock on an authentic pair

Been awhile since I have studied the replicas but I know that all the authentic pairs I have come across have had an indentation to the left of the size tag on the inside of the shoe.

The Red Octobers are outrageous, even when I think I know what I'm looking at, I still learn to appreciate how detailed and complex these are. No matter what Kanye does, these will be the pinnacle of his shoe design
