AJ 2009 - Heel Defect [PICS] vol. You know it was going to happen...

So when the first pictures of the 2009s dropped, everyone commented on the "heel" and here you have it....Someone returned these today at my job. They are not beat or anything, probably worn 3-4 times.

The pair pictured is a "GS" (gradeschool) pair, so the materials may not be up to par with the mens but it is still a $110 shoe.
Upon comparison between the mens and GS pair, the heel material is very similar.

I don't want to deter anyone from buying a pair, just showing what I see. I figured the community may want to check it out. Once again this is a"Youth" pair, not mens.

It happened to mine as well...they're on the way back to Nike tomorrw. They are very comfy but just JUNK !!!!! Sorry Mayden...epic FAIL !

The material thats used in kids sizes are usually different and drastically lower in quality. This does scare me a bit about buying the 2k9s even when theyreon sale.
