Just blows my mind they have leaked all these July thru October releases and here we don’t even have any accurate release dates for XXXVs. Plus they haven’t even said what’s coming out in May and June.

UPDATE 12/20: New information for the Air Jordan 5 “Orange Blaze” has been revealed by zsneakerheadz providing us with the correct “Sail/Orange Blaze-Metallic Silver-Black” color blocking. The netting features remain the same, while the shoe will come with a Sail upper and Metallic Silver speckled shark teeth along the midsole and tongues. While it has yet to be confirmed, the shoe could possibly include “Nike Air” branded heels, which would increase the price tag.

Classic example of JB and stupid gimmicks that no one asked for or wants. The netting is the worst part if the 5 as it yellows quickly. What should be done about that? I know! Make the ankle collar the same netting material!

Update from House of Heat and another mock-up:

It must be challenging for Jordan Branddesigners to relentlessly deliver new and varied options of 30-year-old sneakers, many of which whose colorways and materials have seemingly been exhausted by now. Though many can appreciate a few fine tweaks from release to release, its a little hard to imagine just how this new Air Jordan 5 “Orange Blaze” — formerly “Total Orange” — will fare, considering its key adjustment: extended netting at the collar.

A strange move, sure, but it may just work. This mock-up shared by @zSneakerheadz and @SHOF show just how the pair is intended, though a Photoshop representation — in this instance — may not do the actual design justice. Just how the collar will sit, look and feel will be revealed soon through a first look, but until then, you’ll just have to use your imagination. Elsewhere, you can expect a pretty standard delivery — a classic white leather, Black Tongue-blocked construction, with the OG’s red replaces by a warming Total Orange.
