Given that so many people aren’t even feeling the AJ XX3, why would they release a shoe like this?

They look similar to this budget model named the Jordan Hustle .....which I suspect Jordan brand is trying to do to us

I don’t get why a step down model got the NA. We didn’t even get NA on a signature for years. Now its on a step down model? Bizarre. However, I don’t mind the black colorway.

Tooling is exactly the same, my guess this is Nike/JB’s way of cutting costs and selling cheaper performance models. That said, I’m not sure what the market for these are given that Kyrie’s and PGs are at/around the same price point. Only thing I can think of is that these were specifically designed for markdowns.

Either way, this has Gentry’s fingerprints all over it.

Serious question, what would the current JB be like without the first decade (or so) Jordans to keep falling back on?

If this was a company that strictly had to rely on new goods and new designs they would barely be in shoe-selling business.
