Thats his personal contract and doesnt change the fact that neither one those teams had the appeal, the money, the players to develop a championship team. That isnt going to change because he is there. If anything going to those teams and earning more money would decrease the chances of getting good players around them and another superstar a leader a player that can coexist and help carry the weight.
As far as the town and whether or not the fans are bball fanatics, what does that have to do with winning a championship. The spurs have won how many in the last decade? And they are ranked in terms of sales/popular almost the least popular team in the league. So by your theory duncan 4 rings are meaningless. Same type of environment in terms of the teams popularity and fan base.

Again your missing the concept and understanding of championship teams. No one player can do it alone. Just look at lakers of last year. For the most part, it was gasol and artest in many of those games that ultimately won them the chip. Kobe didnt do it alone. Jordan co captained with pippen. Magic with Worthy and Jabbar. Boozer isnt that type of player and neither is Rose. If game on the line you need a player that can control take over, take the load off, boozer sure isnt that dude, and rose thats lol.
So basically it would all be on lebron. So he would be in the same situation he was in with the exception of a yonger squad. Even when wade etc won he leaned on shaq ( a proven superstar who could dominant take over) and visa versa. Same with shaq w/ kobe.
So again are you saying rose/boozer have the ability when needed or called upon to dominate a game/pick up the slack when lebron cant? If so you truly have no credibility of bball knowledge.
This what i want you to do? Name all the perennial powerhouse/championship teams. Then name one just one that had a single superstar/leader and was the only player that could dominate/lead/carry a team and they did it night in and out and continuously won championships all on their own?
