Alternative to Chapstick?

I've been using Chapstick for the longest but I heard it's not the best product for your lips.

I hear Shea Butter is better. What about Carmex? Anything else I should try?

My cousin told me the other day that carmex shouldn't be used as chapstick and can mess your lips up/cause cancer if used a lot. Even on the package itsays for cold sore use or something like that

I got this new cherry carmex, it comes in a tube like the chapstick instead of a big +%@ jar..i got a 15 pack at sams club for like 11 bucks I think I haveenough for the rest of my life

Yeah stuff with petroleum is a no go. So shea butter or burts bee wax seem like good options I guess.

EDIT: if u buy this MAKE SURE its the pomegranate one... they all look similar...

i just went to walgreens yesterday and bought a chapstick and a small tin of cherry carmex.. i was considering the burt's bees but it was almost 2 dollarsmore expensive lol

I believe it's the petroleum, and that's not good for your lips.
