We, well most of us, know the storied past of NT and it's battles with race relations. Now that this "culture" is merely an instagram account away from immersion, as well as other forms of social media, I am a bit bothered by the blatant "racism" and "passes" these people have.

I was browsing instagram during my morning loaf and find a post by this guy

which is...

This guy is Asian and responds "Trueeeeee" about a very sensitive topic amongst black women.

Am I being too sensitive? I showed my fiancee and she was bothered and said "I hate when black people bring up complexion, who does he think he is?"

My fiancee is black btw.

Let me know what you guys think. I also HATE, yes, HATE, that "shoegirlkaty" throws around the n-word like it's nothing and gets a "pass".

No, your not being sensitive at all. Your feeling is completely understandable.

However would you share the same sentiment if a black dude made a joke a topic that was considered a sensitive topic amongst Asians.

Looks like he'll be at Sneakercon Sat on Campbellton Rd. Better hope this doesn't get around to the "dark-skinned" girls in the area. Guaranteed problems will be had. Dudes in the area already talking shady mess.

I think I would. I'm Latino and can take the pokes from memes but this dude went out of way to compare a black women to a pair of shoes like it's an old cartoon.

Agree fam im a latino myself, and was disgusted by the behavior those racist tools were to the kid singing the national anthem. This is less severe imo than that but still ignorant and moronic. Its like social media is the platform for blatant ignorance a racism now.

who the hell is shoegirlkaty?
an asian agreeing to a meme that a BLACK woman with lipstick looks like a pair of Js isn't racist?

katy is that 18 year old white chick on youtube who dates that 33 year old zaya youtuber. She's been dropping the N-bomb ever since she moved to florida.

If there was a meme that said asians could be blind folded by floss and a visible black/latin/any other race person agreed would that not be offensive?

It's ok to repost or add an emoticon but the dude replied "trueeee" and look at his other comment "DONT ACT LIKE YOU LIKE DARK SKINNED GIRLS"

dudes a total racist.

addressing what exactly?  A corny joke?
Read the comment after "DONT ACT LIKE YOU LIKE DARK SKINNED GIRLS"

There's a clear stance on his dislike of dark skinned women.

Seeing that he lives in ATL with black being the majority and the sensitive nature of the topic of complexion amongst black women I can see him being slapped by said black woman.

He compared black women to a pair of shoes. A black pair of shoes with red bottoms that remind him of black women with lipstick.

Maybe I'm sensitive but him being asian is a violation imo.

What if that girl was a dark skinned Dominican though?
he is asian, he may be referring to those dark-skinned islanders...this is why i refuse to meme or copy and paste stuff like this.

cobain said it best " i wish i was like them, easily amused"

"sneakerheads" are the biggest cornballs... makes me want to give away all my old ****

Not everyone who loves sneakers is a "sneakerhead". You're right. That term been WILD lame, and to me describes this newer crop of sneaker enthusiasts.

Most of whom are a mess.

I have never in my life called myself a "sneakerhead", or identified myself as one. I'm just a guy that really likes sneakers. Buys them and wears them.

I also buy and wear a lot of boxer briefs, T shirts, jeans, hats, polo shirts, socks etc.

Neither of those defines me either.

Please respond
Would you be offended or could it be offensive to say "dont white gum AF1s remind you of a blonde white guy/girl"

The topic here is comparing "bred xis" to a black woman with red lipstick.

There's history, documented by the old school cartoons that showed women with black face and red lipstick. There's minstrel shows that had actors painted in black face with red lips.

No I'm actually a columbia 11 when I brush my teeth. I was just kidding around with you but I think you are definitely a sensitive dude.
Respected.

I guess I found it sensitive because of my finance and when my passed a black woman took over.

But, you had me going for a second.
