In fact based purely off lyrics I would say Pun > Big
Yea, that's I HUUUGE reach on here
when one album CLEARLY laid out the blueprint for the other the answer is pretty clear....
Capital Punishment is getting alot of love on NT as of lately...........a little too much love if you ask me.
not to mention executing that same blueprint better
I love Capital Punishment and Pun definitely was something special but this isn't a contest.
So you guys think lyrically Biggie was better than Pun? Forget album formats and blueprints and all that other stuff.
I never said he was a better rapper though, I'm talking about better lyrically.
I just feel like you can't go wrong with either album...
Plus, I'm not into the whole album a > album b. Or vice versa.
Just enjoy them both cause they're both good albums.
He was better than most lyrically.
Ready to Die > Capital Punishment, though.
Carter II > Capital Punishment
I would pick RTD by a large margin. And don't get me wrong, I loved Pun, but I have to go with Big here.
Seriously?!?! Carter 2, BP2 We talking about an album that had Tres Luches, Twinz on it.
Carter 2 had Fireman on it.
CII > Capital Punishment
I don't know if you're serious sometimes.
...maybe i was reaching wit that comment but ill take bothof Biggies albums over CP not to take anything away from Pun tho son was hella nice
^I "THINK" I agree with this , might have tolisten to both again to really make a decision tho.
It deserves all the love it gets.....
its not a matter of opinion when it comes to which album is superior
Blasphemy. RTD is flawless.
It should get as much love as any other classic album but are you saying that you don't like Capital Punishment?
These 2 albums are great and I listen to them on the regular. As to say which album is better, I give the slight advantage to Pun because of his lyricalabilities and I'm a big fan of both. Big was just as raw on the mic as Pun was. Imagine if these two would have got on a track together I still wish they both were alive. R.I.P to both Legends!
