Am I the only wishing for Nike to retro these?!?

Some of my favorite (and underrated) AM models aside from 90s, 95s, and 97s.....had them all once upon a time and i think its about time for Nike to bring themback. An 08 summer release for any pair would be

,but................one can only hope

i know they retroed the 98s, but not in this cw.....

i also wouldn't mind seeing another pair of the AM Plus 2s (in any cw).........

your not alone. i would already have, but didnt want to pick up a ds pair cause it might crack and i dont really like used shoes (most ive seen were beat).

i would kill/mame/steal for a pair of grey/team red 98's

not sure i'd want them to retro any colors of the air max '98 though 'cause anything they retro pretty much gets ruined anymore

Air Max IV+ is the official name of the first shoe pictured. Awesome for running compared to almost any other full-length Air Max. Very comfy and light. Andthe grey/yellow/white colorway is my fav. My airsole popped within a few months and I had to return them back in 99. Now you can't buy a new pair under$130 on ebay, if you can find them.

one of Nikes greatest runners.
I bought a pair of the grey/yellows in '99 when i was a senior in high school and wore them till the disintegrated

got this pair for a reasonable price from Hodog13 a few years back in '04

Nike would MURDER the air bubble if they retro'ed anything from that era of Max's.

Pair bottom right first pic are a must cop if they drop again... great colourway (Michigan) Silly me I passed on them but got a pair for my kid sister whenthey dropped - now when I think about it I got my little sister a lot of sweet fly kicks from the 90s (SMH) that I passed on myself that I am now grailingafter lol

HELL'S YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! You're right on the money with these. 98 and 99 Air maxes bring up so many memories for me. I missed out on these dueto lack of money and not knowing where to get them. But yeah, these need to be retroed, but I doubt they will. If anything, they will release the first Air Maxyou have pictured.

Oh, and I have a deadstock pair of AM Plus 2's in yellow and navy. It's a 14.

Truth. I would not any of these classics to be retroed for the fear of a ruining of the colors. But I would keep an eye out on eBay when one pops up, andbuy the OG. Ok, peace!

I had all 4 of those pairs of Air Maxes. Got the 98s right after they released, had a couple other pairs of those over the years...

The top pair which came out in late 98 (I don't know what their actual title was), I got right away and after a while I actually peeled off thatplastic/rubber material that was patterned in the mesh areas.
And then the middle pairs, I had gotten the white/blue/green color after they dropped and worethem into the ground. Picked up a pair of the white/black/reddish a couple years ago but they were too small and I had to sell them.

If Nike retroed ANY of these kicks in those colorways, plus a few other OG colorways and didn't ruin them, I would buy each and every pair.
