Am I wrong for being reluctant on giving a girl a compliment on her looks??

I asked this because we are in a era of dudes being extremely "thirsty" and gassing these chicks up. I feel hesitant now a days because once a dude tell a girl she is cute, in most cases, tend to be stick up and think she is above everyone..smh Especially girls who aren't that attractive.. Anyone here see where I am coming from?

There's plenty of ways to compliment a broad without being thirsty.

Thing is, for most dudes if your pretty then you automatically are attractive.

To me, a girl can be pretty but that doesn't necessarily make me want her anymore than I want a sandwich when I look at a subway commercial.

I'll pay a girl a compliment and continue talking to her like a regular person, not throwing game at her but seeing where her head is at and what kind of person she is. Girls ain't used to proving their worth nowadays.

I personally don't. They like that attention, most times they take it too far thinking they got your soul after complimenting them.

OP, how old are you? It never hurts to give a woman a compliment. If they take it overboard and show attitude, just say nevermind and move on. If the compliment is genuine, and they don't accept it, know the problem lies in them and not you. Their loss.

Was with this girl the other day and her phone rings, dude on the other end "hey pretty pretty girl"

It took a lot for me to not bust out laughing. A lot of cornballs out there and girls love it.

It doesn't take much to impress the average girl nowadays either. Was having this conversation and seen this girls eyes light up because I used the word "demographic".

Her face was like "ooo this guy is smart". Ratchets man..

Dude above me is right. U compliment them physically but subtly let em know that it takes a lot more to be considered attractive in ur eyes. "Yeah ur attractive, but what else do u bring to the table?"

it all depends on how you approach the girl. or there maturity level. to me once compliment is enough. hey you have some wonderful eyes but if you start to compliment them about everything then ur thirsty. you could even say hey, nice outfit

I'll compliment a woman's intellect or perspective, but if a woman deserves compliments on her looks, there are plenty of men to give them to her. I like being different, it makes me interesting.

Besides, I reserve all mine for the one I'm *******.

If her eyes light up at demographic, maybe it's you who needs to change my friend

 Dudes take even the most basic way of speaking to women and deem it "simping". Ya'll need to chill.

Ya'll think too much.
I find myself saying this a lot more these days. Nothing wrong with giving a genuine compliment. Never feed a girl fishing for them. And try to give compliments on things outside of looks. If you struggle with that then that should tell you something.

Dude just give her a compliment lol.
Women love compliments.

Just dont be like "girl you got a pretty mouth" or sum s*** like that.

i like to be specific. i wont tell a random girl she's pretty but i'd say her eyes were lovely or something of that nature. someone i already know then it's nbd i'll tell her if she's looking good.

i only compliment after or during i F

example (while im pounding away or after i pounded away) : omgosh u are so hot

Aye OP, I get complimented all the time by women and now it doesn't even make a difference to me. I imagine it's the same with women who get complimented all the time. When you get too much of something you just don't care about it anymore. Compliment her on something outside of her looks. If shes good looking how many other guys didn't tell her that throughout the day? Give her a compliment that differentiates from the norm. Perhaps her hair, her perspective (if you know her from a class or something), a clothing of garment of a specific color she could be wearing that compliments her lel. Don't be peasant.

Can't remember the last time I gave a girl an unsolicited compliment on her looks.

I personally don't do it cause if she has a Twitter, fb, and now instagram she's heard that **** a million times. She know she bad, I don't need to belabor the point

Compliment her style or her outfit or her hair or something along those lines. Something she actually had a hand in shaping. Her looks are due to genetics and parents.
