Report: Amazon Outs Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Listed on Amazon France. February 17, 2012

Amazon may have outed the existence of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

According to a report from French site GameBlog (translated by IGN host Naomi Kyle), Amazon France posted a product page for Black Ops 2 and soon pulled it from the site.

Making things more interesting, a follow-up post,from GameBlog claims that the site was later asked by Activision to remove news of the listing. After refusing to do so, the site was reportedly told "not to present themselves" at a Transformers: Fall of Cybertron event that they'd previously been invited to.

This follows a report earlier this year that Activision had purchased blackops2.com. Activision has already confirmed that a new Call of Duty game is coming this year, though the exact title of that game hasn't been confirmed.

Black Ops 2 is still only a rumor for now. We've reached out to Activision and will update with any comment we receive.

If I'm not mistaken this year its treyarch turn to make a COD. Infinity ward will be 2013.

They need to make that, I would play it if they did, miss 1 shot and you're a dead man, they also have pistols and swords too I think. They'll find some way to make it the same game again.

COD still gonna do record #s since there is no FPS game that competes with it year in and year out

They will make a crappy game so they can fix something on the 2013 release while at the same time breaking that game in order to sell more copies of the 2014 release which will have the problems from the 2013 release fixed but those same problems from the 2013 release will make their way back in the form of commando-pro in the COD 2015 release which will have.
