No, never. Both shows genuinely suck, but Family Guy at its worst is funnier than American Dad. The alien is the only halfway decent character.

Family guy has better characters and potential....and at it's best family guy is better than any episode of American dad. But Family guy is getting alittle stale.

I kinda liked AD when it came out, saw the first season and thought it had some great eps but the characters were too restricted to have a great series. Atleast it lives within its means and is not as random as FG. After season 2 I hated FG.

i feel you dude, i hate how they go into little cut-scenes that end up making up 3/4 of the show, and because of this the plot sucks @+!.
they try way too hard.
