Perfect game to start the season with... Play the team that knocked you out. See where we stand. Let's see if we're something they can laugh at anymore. I don't like placing too much meaning into season openers, but we know the path to the top guarantees a meeting with the boys in red.
If we don't come out hungry vs, THESE N's? Who else are we waiting to play against?
I just don't want to see panic and indecision, that's what we brang Kidd here for. I don't want to see Melo play hero ball. That SH is fun and all to watch but we ain't going nowhere with that. There needs to be an intensity that we make them match.
It has to be a dogfight out there. We wanna be the best defensive team in the L? Then here's the first step. Knock these guys on their ***** if you have to. Make a damn statement.
Yeah I wish we would have had Amare, and Shump in the starting 5, but Injuries are part of the game, and not everyone is healthy now. and on another note, our city is sick right now too. i hope these dudes come out with a fire and focus to really win this game. It'll definately help get this city back on it's feet, something to get behind.
