Definetly means when he comes back.
It's the best way to go for both parties. Teams gets a chances to get a feel for STAT and he eases his way into the lineup. Plus, we can really use him with our second unit.

Depends who we play honestly. Melo at the 4 has been GREAT for us, but it compromised our interior defense and rebounding. Even though STAT was never known as a defensive player, his size will help.
If he does sturggle off the bench, what good would it be for him to start? Chandler already takes up too much space inside. Melo would get doubles, so, STAT would have to really take advantage off elbow/flex plays. Maybe the Pick and Rolls with Fleton/Kidd could give him a lift as well. We wont know till this happens though.

See, STAT could get going against that class of defender. Let alone when we get Sheed back to space the floor better. Whoever's covering Novak or Cope is gonna have to help off his man, especially in the pick and roll.
