Part of me wants to believe that the league wouldnt do that. But you never know with Stern. Its not like the Celtics are good enough to compete for a championship. Getting past round 1 does what as a story? They wouldnt get passed round 2 unless they plan on helping them throughout the playoffs.

Just to be clear. I dont think they will rig the series just to get the story out of it.

But id be lying if I said it didnt cross my mind. It just doesnt make sense for them to even attempt that tho. I think we will win this series in 5 and it will just be another series. Obviously the media will play up the Boston story. But i dont think it comes into play at all on the court. We are better then the Celtics by quite a large margin this year. And it isnt big enough of a story to rig a 1st round matchup considering Boston wouldnt go further than that anyways. Im not worried about that coming into play.
