Possibly the best live action Spider-Man movie. Andrew wasnt the best Peter Parker, but he was def the best Spider-Man.

Everything about this movie was almost perfection.

The costume > any other costume. The big bug eyes :pimp:

Black Cat was looking mighty fine

The clock tower fight was the best fight scene in a spiderman movie and Gwen's death was perfectly executed

Electro was done RIGHT but we all knew Jamie was gonna kill this role already :nthat:

And of course for the cherry on top, THE RHINO. EASILY the best iteration of Rhino i've seen. Love that he wasnt some big buff dude in some rhino costume. This was a far better interpretation of the Rhino for a live action movie.

Overall, this is easily one of, if not, the BEST spiderman movies that will only get better as time goes.

I’m all for this. Personally I wouldn’t say it was the BEST Spiderman movie, but I enjoyed this series a lot and it bothers me when people say this series was trash. I was pissed when they decided to completely reboot the series again.

all great points btw

I thought it was good
Until marvel came
Took over
And made me realize it was kinda trash

That **** was trash.

A travesty and disgrace to the comics.

Hate it when writers/directors want to rush a bunch of crap and pack it all in to one movie. Same thing happened with Spider-Man 3. Sony learned nothing.

Trash *** Green Goblin. Such a weak storyline with a dying Norman and the son out the blue going full insane and then just killing Gwen.

This version of Electro was just not it.

Rhino was a joke too.

In two movies they ruined 4 Spider-Man villains. Feige knew this was trash and had Sony reboot that garbage instead of getting something real bad to work with.

Movie was only good for visuals.

I Was Disappointed Back When They Decided To Reboot The Series.

Had No Issues With ASM1 Or ASM2 At That Time. In Retrospect Though The Grass Has Def Been Greener On The Marvel Side Since.

you have to admit AT LEAST admit that the clock tower fight was one of the best comic book movie scenes

I'm gonna say no.

I don't revisit this movie though and I barely remember that fight scene.

I recall my last rewatch of it and I was so disappointed that it was worse than I remember.

Never seen any Spider-Man since Toby McGuire

This. I thought Spiderman 2 was dope and I don't really mess with superhero movies. Saw that one in the theater.

Watched it again recently and it still holds up.

The intro to that movie is probably the best adaption of Spider-Man to this date. From the humor, to Garfields entire performance

Garfield’s Spider-Man >>>>

Haven’t seen the new ones cause I liked these and thought it was dumb to reboot. Plus I don’t watch a lot of comic movies.

Tobey’s are still good but they’ve aged.

The new kid is a whole dweeb, I want to give him a swirly.

This thread turned out funny as hell. I will this though say that I liked Garfield the most as Spiderman from him making his gadgets, the humor, etc. Growing playing the games, other none live action movie stuff, Andrew Garfield play's the Spiderman I'm the most familiarized w/. However, the movie scripts to his movies were cool & bad.

Toby Maguire is obviously the best Peter Parker & the most important figure in any superhero movie b/c he paved the to the success we're seeing rn. Spiderman 2 is easily the best stand alone Spiderman film.

Tom Holland captures the innocence and overall goodness of the vintage Spiderman & is very great in his role. I'm not really feeling the lack of a backstory on his origins and if I don't about Spiderman b4 hand I'd probably have a harder connecting w/ his character. I will say that the scene were picks up the building is pure genius. That may have been the most Spiderman thing I've ever seen in movie. Just a beautiful shot.
