Any Internet Marketers on board?

Hey I am wondering if anyone here is versed enough in this stuff to point me in the right direction to make some of that online and offline mula. Any and every entrepreneur doing it freelance, or with a company please check in and help me start building those skills. I have been doing some preliminary research into SEO, wordpress,etc  and looking for side jobs on Craigslist. But was looking to get a jumpstart into this world from one of my NT Brethren. Internships are highly recommended. SEO and online marketing are things that not only take time, they take lots of patience too. Watch some of the Youtube videos for SEOMoz to get some pointers. Market Leader & Hubspot are also some other great resources with free online ebooks to help you out. Once you think you have the hang of it, Google goes and changes their algorithm again. When it works, you feel great because you know you beat out everyone else in your area for the top spot. When it doesn't work, it's frustrating because you have no idea what you're doing wrong in most cases.

Try to go to the internet marketing meetups in person to network and get contacts, partners, etc. That pretty much works for any biz though is meeting people who's actually done it in person. You learn so much more and people are more open to share things with you in person.
