After reading so much about this movie on NT, I finally rented it yesterday. Yo, this movie is good, but it's terrible. I didn't reallyknow what to think when I finished watchin it'. Matter fact, be on the look out for a thread on his movie during peak NT hours.

Remember the titan

Lost in translation really kick started me into wanting to travel abroad

American History X

American Psycho

Osama

Why We Fight

A State of Mind

The Killing Fields

...I am sure there are more.

but seriously,

music tends to inspire me more, things like Morrissey and the Smiths,Alkaline Trio.

I remember breaking up with my ex 3 years ago and listening to "Maybe I will Catch Fire" By Trio and it made me realize I wasnt alone in wanting tokill my ex for all the crappy things she did,but at the same time helped me get over them because I am not the only person going or have gone through it.

As far as movies,

"I am Sam" hit me pretty hard growing up with a single mom. The guy is mentally challenged and he still tries to provide for his child, and thensomeone interferes thinking he isn't mentally fit and tries to take his kid away. I literally left the film to cry in the theater bathroom and punch thestall till my knuckles were numb simply because my father being of sane mind didn't do the same.

but to quote Kirk Lazarus" Never go full ******..."

Agreed with:

Trainspotting
Children of Men
Lost in Translation
Darjeeling Express
Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
The Royal Tenebaums

Some I would like to add:

Blood in Blood Out
American Me
Forrest Gump
Broken Flowers
One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest
The Awakenings
25th Hour
Bullet

I'll add more later.

Also agreed upon a bunch mentioned earlier, like Garden State, V for Vendetta, Crash, American Beauty

Also if not mentioned:

21 Grams

Back
Top Bottom
