im going to australia next week and will be doing a tandem skydive from 14,000 feet. what to expect?
any NTers been skydiving before?

My boy went skydiving not too long ago, you will only be in air for about a minute or two.

would like to go. it is around 150/jump here in texas
you have to jump with someone several times before going solo dolo.
but seems damn fun. too bad it only last a few minutes

to jump it'll cost 275 australian dollars which is roughly 253 US dollars... i heard it only lasts for 2 minutes? damn, i expected a longer jump.. thoughtmaybe it'd be like 10 minutes. 14,000 feet isnt high enough lol

i've tandem jumped twice. i'm afraid of heights and i hate rollercoasters. the ride up in the plane was a little creepy but the jump is really fun andnot even scary. once the door opens, it's noisy as hell and you're out the plane in no time. the fall is great. you def don't feel like you'reflying. when they pull the chute it's really nice and quiet. i'll probably do it again some time.
