I dont know what was directed my way but...
My parents pay everything off as quick as they can.. and that trait rubbed off on me. Priorities first, which has allowed us to enjoy our toys and live life tothe fullest.

Like you said, cars are a horrible way to judge wealth. I drive a 350z. I could drive a Corvette if I wanted to, but I'd be killing myself on car notes, eating ramen noodles every meal, and wearing hanes t-shirts and jordan shorts to church.
Nothing wrong with an Altima. It's like a Camry or an Accord. In my book, if you're 20-25, with one of those vehicles, and on your way to owning your own condo/home, and can fully support yoursel, then that's a smart move.
Nowadays, too many young people want to buy the most expensive thing they can purchase with the money, not realizing in the long run they can't afford it.
QFT, this same thought process of buying stuff way out of your means is what brought the financial crash of 08/09.

Not entirely accurate.
I know plenty of guys who make a lot of money and let it be known. It just depends on the person. What I've noticed is that you're more likely to see"new money" individuals talk about their money then those Rockefeller, Ford, etc. types whose families have had money ever since the term "DowJones Index" was invented.

Old Money is someone who comes from more then one generation of wealth, or someone who has inherited money from there bloodline. New Money is theopposite, and you can....more times then not pick them out of a crowd.

Well new money is when your the first person in your family to ever be rich, and old money is when your family has always been rich. Some peoplewho consider themselves old money don't really like new money I have no idea why but they just don't sometimes.
