So I'm cleaning out my closet and I come across a few hundred CD's that I haven't looked at in probably almost 10 years - most of it's stuff Idon't really even care about at this point, but I don't want to just give or throw these all away since I paid good money for them and someday I may belooking for one of these songs.

But I don't really wanna spend hours and hours going CD to CD ripping them onto my external HD. Is there a better way to do this that I'm overlooking? And is anyone interested in a bunch of old rap cd's?

ANybodywith a good answer that save me some time has free dibs on whatever I got.

First go to the preferences for iTunes and look on the General section. There is a drop down for an item called "On CD Insert". Select the option "Import Songs and Eject". This will make iTunes grab the track names for the CD, import all the tracks and eject the CD when it's done without you touching a button. Don't forget to set it back to whatever you had before or CDs won't play.
Does that help?

It's definitely a good start - got any help like this for a program other than the memory-hog that is Itunes, which i don't have installedon my newest computer. (sadly, if you're in this for the CD's, you might be disappointed.. it's mostly old rap and I see you in the rock threadsmostly
