Any Window 7 users?

I just got a new laptop last week, came loaded with Window 7 and it's cool and all, coming from an XP user, why when I save anything to my C: it keeps telling me I don't have administration rights to save to this HDD? I'm the owner, register in my name, I'm the admin, how do I not have rights? When I went to my security settings it shows that I am the admin and I'm the only register account on here too.

Thanks, ill give it try. Also Window 7 doesn't come with Office? Why is it telling me to buy it, I'm trying to open up my resume which is a word file...

I might be remembering it wrong but I believe there was some lawsuit saying that pre-loading Office violated antitrust laws or something along those lines.  Wasn't fair to the competition..

I had the same question when I first read the article

I don't remember if a software or hardware manufacturer brought it up.  Again, this was a while ago and I don't remember fully but that could explain it.

Windows has never come with office preinstalled unless the manufacturer already put it on there and charged a premium for the computer.  If you want to work on your resume, I would suggest using Google Docs.  It's just as good as open office is now and you can access it from anywhere.

Yeah i got Windows 7..Windows sucks. I used to have a mac. I will do everything i can to get the money to get another Mac.
